Ramadan (Arabic: رمضان‎) is the ninth month of the Islamic calender. It is the Islamic month of fasting, in which participating Muslims refrain from eating, drinking, sexual conduct, smoking, and indulging in anything that is in excess from dawn until sunset fasting is meant to teach the Muslim patience, modesty and spirituality. Ramadan is a time to fast for the sake of Allah, and to offer more prayer than usual. During Ramadan, Muslims ask forgiveness for past sins, pray for guidance and help in refraining from everyday evils, and try to purify themselves through self-restraint and good deeds. Today is the first day of Ramadan in the year of 2009. It is quit hard to fast in summer time. I don’t know how am i going to make it. Every year i was never afraid of it. I never thought of it being hard to fats, but this years seems to be little difficult. My school will open on september 9th. It will be really hard to fast in school days in this hot weather, plus in school we go through so many things that have to keep in control and control myself from my Love One. It is really hard to think of staying and leaving a limit between her, but it’s okay if it’s for sake of Islam. I hope i make it though. usually in Ramadan month peoples preys more then usual. I doubt if i am going to make it. I don’t know i want to pray, but then i don’t, but i have to get a habit of praying. I hope i will be able to fast all 30 days and inshallah won’t do anything wrong that cause my fast to brake. Hope this month brings happiness in my life and changes my life. Allah forgives me for all the sins i have done and I have enough strength to prey. Hope this Ramadan goes well and I enjoy my EID. Happy Ramadan Everyone.
